Just almost done with these two… But I’m cutting it off for now and moving on to something that I’m looking to develop on the subject matter I do in my art.
2nd image is still kinda far off. It’s a request from my bro for his 2 favorite Dota 2 characters: Shadow Demon and Invoker (I don’t really know these two, I don’t play Dota). This’ll have to wait another time to get finished… That’s an ifffff I feel like getting back to it again :P -

Who or what is Adcom?
Adcom is a creative training institute that uses artwork tracing as a method of learning. This is not something new or unheard of.
But Adcom has gone beyond the pale by using traced works in their advertising.
What exactly has happened?

I hope the movie really is as good as the premier viewers say it is). Don’t know how I’m supposed to paint the alien in this one since they aren’t really shown that well in the trailers. Will probably just wing it. -

WIP - palace wall guard
Tired from trip to province, I started this yesterday as a relaxation exercise (Inspired by the return of Game of Thrones) Trying to ‘optimize’ my working process again trying out different basic brushes. I’m tired of working on this style that kinda demands a lot of attention to details. Might go back to a more ‘speed painterly’ style for now. /bogged down

WIP2 : “mystic river”

Punched in some rough detailing in there and started to bring to life the two characters on the boat. BG’s mood coming along nicely - again heavily referenced/inspired by a picture I saw online. The whole context of this scene was inspired by that one picture. Trying not to copy it too much lol
That goblin thing looks something out of that recently released John Carter movie. Oh well. I already like how it’s quad-arms are playing in the scene. I will try to change it up some more to differentiate it from the designs we’ve already seen in the movies. But this is how I want him to look more or less.
